About Hailsham:
Hailsham is the largest town in the Wealden district of East Sussex and although many older parts of the town have been lost due to redevelopment, there are still many examples of great architecture and buildings to be found in the town. 'The Stone' is thought to be the oldest house still standing in Hailsham and is a grade II listed building. It is believed to have been built in 1320.
